Why Glint
A launcher can’t add FPS on its own once the game is running — the gains come from Java, memory, performance mods and settings. Glint gets those right for your PC, every time, so you don’t have to.
Releases, snapshots and old alpha/beta, from 1.8.9 to 26.x. Fabric, Quilt, NeoForge and Forge, with loader versions picked for you.
Scans your CPU, GPU and RAM — no admin rights — then sets memory, JVM flags and game options to match.
Installs Sodium + Iris and Glint’s own LiteGlow pack, then writes the config. Pick Potato, Low, Medium or High.
Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, ModernFix, ImmediatelyFast, EntityCulling and Dynamic FPS — skipped if your version has no build.
Search mods, modpacks, shaders and resource packs. Dependencies install automatically; .mrpack files import in a click.
Reads the log after a crash and explains it in plain words — out of memory, wrong Java, mod conflicts, GPU drivers — with one-click fixes.
A warm launch only checks file sizes: about 0.2 seconds for 4,000 files. Repair re-hashes everything when you need it.
Glint hides to the tray while you play, freeing its window and memory, and comes back when the game closes.
LiteGlow shaders
LiteGlow is Glint’s own shader pack, built for integrated graphics like Intel UHD and Iris Xe — warm sunlight, blue moonlit nights, painted clouds and water reflections.
Lighting is worked out per vertex and everything runs in one post pass, so it stays light. Shadows are off unless you choose High.

Glint’s own illustration of the effect. Drag to compare.
Under the hood
Glint reads your hardware and picks a tier: Potato for 4 GB machines, Low for integrated graphics or 8 GB, Mid for up to 16 GB, High above that.
Default per performance tier. Glint always leaves Windows at least 2.5 GB.
| Tier | Memory |
|---|---|
| Potato | 1.5 GB |
| Low | 3 GB |
| Mid | 4 GB |
| High | 6 GB |
