#The house rules

Three promises every app keeps before it ships.

  • Does one thing — each app solves one problem completely, so it opens fast.

  • Runs in your browser — on a phone, tablet or computer.

#Using the store

Search, filter, sort and open apps.

ToolHow
SearchType in the search box, or press / to jump to it.
TypeEverything, Apps, Software or Web tools.

#Ratings, reviews and reporting issues

Tell others what you think, or tell us what broke.

Invoicely basics

5 articles

#First run

Pick a default currency, and optionally fill in your business details.

  1. Open Invoicely.
  2. Choose your default currency — INR for Indian invoices — and press Continue.
  3. Add your business details now in Settings, or skip and do it later.

There’s no account to create. Everything you enter is saved in this browser.

Invoicely’s dashboard

#Create an invoice

Seven short sections, with a live preview beside them.

SectionWhat goes in it
1 · Business informationLogo, business and owner name, phone, email, GST/tax number, website and address.
2 · Customer detailsName, phone, email and address.
3 · Invoice detailsInvoice number, date, due date, currency and notes.
4 · Products & servicesOne row per item: name, description, quantity, price, discount % and GST %.
5 · TotalsSubtotal, discount, GST and the grand total — calculated for you.
6 · Payment detailsUPI ID, bank, account name and number, IFSC/SWIFT, and a signature image.
7 · BrandingPrimary and accent colours, font and footer text.

Press New Invoice on the dashboard to start. Everything saves automatically as you type; press Save to file it on the dashboard.

#Line items, discounts and GST

How Invoicely does the maths.

For each line: quantity × price, minus the line’s discount %, then the line’s GST % is added on top. Use Add row for more items, and the row buttons to duplicate or delete one.

LineExample
Subtotal (before discounts)₹60,600
Discount−₹1,500
GST (18% of ₹59,100)₹10,638
Grand total₹69,738
Tip

Invoicely shows GST as one rate per line. For Indian tax invoices, write the split — “CGST 9% + SGST 9%” or “IGST 18%” — and the place of supply in Notes. Our GST invoice guide explains why.

#Statuses and the dashboard

Draft, pending, paid or overdue — and what you’ve collected.

Set a status at the top of the editor. The dashboard counts your invoices, shows how many are paid and pending, adds up revenue collected from paid invoices (all time, last 30 days, this month or this year) and draws a six-month revenue trend. Search by customer or invoice number, or filter by status.

#Invoice numbers

Check the number on every new invoice.

Good to know

Every invoice needs its own number, in one unbroken series — for GST, unique within the financial year. Type the next number in your series into Invoice number before you save, and don’t reuse one.

Payment details

3 articles

#Bank and UPI details

Tell customers how to pay you.

Fill in Payment details on the invoice, or set defaults in Settings → Payment so they prefill every new invoice. The UPI ID is printed for reference.

#Your payment QR code

Upload your own — Invoicely never generates one.

  1. Open Settings → Payment.
  2. Upload your official payment QR code (PNG, JPG or WEBP) from your bank or UPI app.
  3. Save. It now appears on every invoice preview and PDF.
Honest note

Invoicely deliberately doesn’t make a QR code from your UPI ID — a QR you upload from your bank or UPI app is the one you know is right.

Invoicely Settings → Payment: upload your payment QR code, UPI ID and bank details

#Signature

Add a signature image.

Under Payment details, choose a signature image file. It’s placed above “Authorized signature” on the invoice.

Export & share

3 articles

#Download a PDF

A clean A4 PDF, with your logo and payment QR.

Press Download PDF at the bottom of the editor. The file is named after the invoice number. This is the copy to send and to keep for your records.

#Export a PNG

An image, handy for chat apps.

Press Export PNG to save the invoice as an image — useful for sending on WhatsApp or other chat apps.

#Print

Straight from your browser.

Press Print. In the print dialog you can also choose Save as PDF.

06 / 08

Settings & defaults

2 articles

#Defaults for new invoices

Set it once in Settings; every new invoice starts from it.

TabWhat it sets
BusinessName, owner, phone, email, GST number, website and address.
BrandingColours, font, default template, default currency and footer.
PaymentYour payment QR, UPI ID and bank details.

Existing invoices keep their own copy, so changing a default never rewrites old invoices.

Invoicely Settings → Branding

#Dark mode

Light or dark, any time.

Press Dark mode at the bottom of the sidebar (or in the menu on a phone). Your PDFs always print on white.

07 / 08

Data & privacy

3 articles

#Where your invoices are stored

In your browser, on your device — never on our servers.

Invoicely saves your invoices, customers, logo and settings in your browser’s local storage as you type. There’s no account, and Vyoma’s servers never receive your invoices. The store only counts downloads and stores public reviews.

#Keeping your invoices safe

Local storage is private — and also fragile.

  • Invoices don’t sync between devices or between browsers on the same device.
  • Clearing your browser’s data (cookies and site data) deletes them.
  • Private or incognito windows forget everything when closed.
Good to know

Download a PDF of every invoice you send. That’s your permanent record.

#What loads when Invoicely opens

An honest list.

When the app opens, your browser fetches its fonts, icons and the PDF tools from public CDNs (Google Fonts, cdnjs and unpkg). That’s all — none of your invoice data is sent anywhere.

Troubleshooting

5 articles

#My invoices disappeared

Usually a different browser, a private window, or cleared site data.

Open Invoicely in the same browser and profile you used before, outside private mode. If the browser’s data was cleared, the invoices can’t be recovered — which is why we recommend saving a PDF of each one.

#Download PDF doesn’t work

The PDF tools load from the internet when the app opens.

Reload Invoicely while you’re online, then try again. If it still fails, use Print → Save as PDF.

#Two invoices have the same number

Fix the number before you send.

Open the invoice, change Invoice number to the right one in your series, and save. Always check the number on a new invoice before saving it.

#Is this a valid GST invoice?

It can be — if the right details are on it.

Include your GSTIN, the customer’s GSTIN for B2B, HSN/SAC codes, the place of supply and the tax split. Our GST invoice guide has the full checklist. Businesses above ₹5 crore turnover must also generate e-invoices on the government portal.

#Is there a Windows or Android app?

Use the web app for now.

Invoicely runs in any modern browser on Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iPhone. Native apps are listed as coming soon.
