What is Arka AI
Arka AI is an intelligent, adaptive AI assistant built by Vyoma Group in India. The name "Arka" comes from Sanskrit, meaning "Sun" — symbolizing illumination and knowledge.

Built by Vyoma Group, a small team focused on making AI accessible to everyone. Arka is designed with a core philosophy: AI should adapt to you, not the other way around.

Sign in with Google
Click "Continue with Google" and select your Google account. No password needed — Google handles your authentication securely.

We use Google Sign-In because it's secure, fast, and means we never store your password. Your Google account data is never shared with us.

After signing in, you'll see Arka's welcome screen with 4 feature cards: Analyze Image, Solve & Reason, Code Help, and Learn & Explain.
Start your first conversation
Click any feature card or type directly in the input bar at the bottom. Press Enter to send!
Explore settings
Click your profile at the bottom of the sidebar to access Settings, Language preferences, and more.
Creating Your Account
Your account is created automatically when you sign in with Google for the first time.
What Happens on First Sign-In
- Account creation is automatic via Google Sign-In
- Free plan is applied automatically — no credit card needed
- A local user profile is created in your browser
- You can start chatting immediately
Personalizing Your Account
- Name & nickname: Set what Arka calls you in Settings
- Work description: Tell Arka your profession for tailored responses

Your data is yours
Everything you tell Arka — your name, preferences, conversations — stays in YOUR browser. We don't have access to your conversations.

Chatting with Arka

Sending Messages
- Type in the input bar and press Enter to send
- Press Shift+Enter for a new line without sending
- Click the send button as an alternative
Managing Chats
- New chat: Click "New Chat" or press Ctrl+K
- Switch chats: Click any conversation in the sidebar
- Arka's response time: Typically 2-8 seconds depending on complexity
Pro Tips for Better Conversations
- Be specific about what you need
- Provide context for complex questions
- Say "explain simply" for easier answers
- Say "go deeper" for more detail
- Use Hinglish naturally — Arka understands!
Chat History
Your conversations are saved automatically and stay private in your browser.
How Chats are Stored
All conversations are stored in your browser's localStorage — not on Vyoma Group's servers. This means your chats are completely private.
Chat Actions (3-dot menu)
- ⭐ Star: Pin important chats to the top of the list
- ✏️ Rename: Give chats meaningful names
- 📁 Add to Project: Coming soon
- 🗑️ Delete: Permanently remove a chat
Exporting & Clearing
- Export individual chats as text files
- Clear all history from Settings > Danger Zone
- Data persists until you clear browser data or delete your account

Arka AI can analyze images using advanced vision capabilities powered by the qwen3.5-122b model.

Important Note
Arka analyzes images — it does NOT generate or create images. For image generation, other tools are available.
Daily Limits
Free plan: 5 images per 24 hours. Counter resets 24 hours from first use. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited images.
Uploading Images
Three easy ways to share images with Arka for analysis.
Method 1: Click Upload
- Click the files/attachment button (folder icon) in the input bar
- Select "Upload Image" from the menu
- Choose an image from your device
- Add your question or request
- Press Enter to send
Method 2: Copy-Paste
- Copy any image to your clipboard (right-click → Copy Image)
- Click in Arka's input bar
- Press Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on Mac)
- The image will appear as a preview
- Add your question and send
Method 3: Drag & Drop
- Find the image on your device or browser
- Drag it directly onto Arka's input area
- Drop it when you see the upload indicator
- Add your question and send
Supported Formats

Image Quality Tips
- Use high-resolution, clear images
- Ensure text in images is readable
- For math: write clearly with good lighting
- For documents: flatten and scan properly

Large File Note
Files over 50KB of text content will be automatically truncated to the most relevant portions. For large documents, consider asking specific questions for focused analysis.

What is Deep Reasoning?
Deep Reasoning mode enables Arka to think carefully through complex problems step-by-step before responding.
Normal vs. Reasoning Mode
Normal mode: Fast, conversational responses for everyday questions.
Reasoning mode: Careful, step-by-step analysis for complex problems. Takes longer but produces more thorough answers.

How to Enable Reasoning
Enable deep reasoning with a single click.
Turning On
- Find the brain icon (🧠) in the input bar
- Click it — it turns orange when active
- An orange "Deep Reasoning ON" pill appears above the input
- Type your question and send
- Arka will show a reasoning indicator while thinking
Turning Off
- Click the orange brain icon again
- Or click the X on the "Deep Reasoning ON" pill
- Next message will use normal mode
Understanding Responses
Deep reasoning responses have a special format showing Arka's thinking process.
Response Format
Reasoning responses typically include:
- 🧠 Analysis: Step-by-step thinking process
- ✅ Answer: Clear, direct final answer
- 💡 Additional considerations: Caveats, alternatives, follow-ups

How Arka Adapts to You
Arka's adaptive personality engine detects your communication style and adjusts every response to suit you perfectly.
1. Language Detection
Arka detects whether you're writing in Hindi, English, or Hinglish and responds naturally in the same language. Write in Hinglish → Arka responds in Hinglish.
2. Expertise Level
Beginner signals: Simple words, "what is", "explain", "I don't understand" → Arka uses simple language, analogies, step-by-step explanations.
Expert signals: Technical jargon, specific terms, complex questions → Arka provides technical depth, peer-level discussion, no over-explaining.
3. Tone Adaptation
- Casual: Relaxed, fun responses with informal language
- Formal: Professional, structured responses
- Emotional: Warm, empathetic, supportive
User Profile
All detected preferences are saved to your browser's localStorage. This profile never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.
Memory Overview
Arka's memory system provides long-term context that persists across all your conversations.
What is Memory?
- Long-term context that persists across chats
- Unlike conversation history (per-chat), memory applies to ALL future conversations
- Completely private — stored in your browser
- You have full control to view, edit, and delete
Memory Categories
- Instructions — rules you want Arka to follow

Enabling Memory
Turn on memory to let Arka remember important details about you.
How to Enable
- Open Settings (Ctrl+, or profile menu)
- Go to Capabilities tab
- Toggle "Generate memory from chat history" ON
- Arka will now remember things automatically
What Gets Auto-Remembered
- Your name when you introduce yourself
- Projects you mention repeatedly
- Preferences you express
- Instructions you give ("always use Python 3")
When Arka saves something new to memory, a brief "💡 Arka remembered something new" notification appears.
Importing from Other AIs
Bring your memory from ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to Arka.
Import Steps
- Open Settings → Capabilities
- Click "Start Import →"
- Copy the provided export prompt
- Paste it into your other AI (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
- Copy the response
- Paste it into Arka's import box
- Click "Add to Arka Memory"

Privacy Note
Imported memories are stored only in your browser. Vyoma Group never sees this data.
General Settings
Customize how Arka behaves and responds to you.
Full Name
Your Google account name, pre-filled. Displayed in your profile.
What Should Arka Call You?
Your preferred nickname. If you set "Boss" here, Arka will call you Boss in conversations. Leave empty to use your first name.
Work Description
Helps Arka tailor responses to your professional context. A developer gets more technical responses; a student gets more educational ones. Options include: Developer/Engineer, Designer, Student, Business/Finance, Healthcare, Legal, Creative/Content, Marketing, Research/Science, Other.
Personal Preferences
Free-form text for specific instructions. Examples:
- "Always respond in Hinglish"
- "Keep answers concise and bullet-pointed"
- "I prefer Python over JavaScript"
- "Use simple language, I'm a beginner"
- "Always add code comments"
These preferences are sent with every API request within Vyoma's Guidelines.

Danger Zone
Irreversible account actions. Use with extreme caution.
Clear All Chat History
Permanently deletes ALL your conversations. Cannot be undone. You must type "DELETE" to confirm.
Delete Account
Removes your account and all associated local data. Type your email address to confirm. This will:
- Sign you out of Firebase
- Clear all localStorage data
- Delete your chat history
- Delete your profile and settings
- Delete your memory data
Warning
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. Make sure to export any important conversations before proceeding.

Firebase is Google's authentication platform. We use it only for Google Sign-In.

Login Issues
Common sign-in problems and how to fix them.
Button Doesn't Work
Problem: "Continue with Google" button doesn't respond.
- Disable popup blocker for this site
- Try a different browser
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Disable browser extensions temporarily
- Check your internet connection
Redirect Loop
Problem: Signed in but redirected back to login.
Solution: This was a known issue that has been fixed. Clear your browser cache (Ctrl+Shift+Delete) and try again.
Domain Not Authorized
Problem: "This domain is not authorized" error.
Solution: Contact support at support@vyomagroup.online — this is a configuration issue on our end.
API Errors
Troubleshooting API and response errors.
Common Error: "Sorry, I encountered an error"
Rate Limit Exceeded
NVIDIA API has rate limits. Wait a few minutes and try again.
Network Error
Check your internet connection. The NVIDIA API requires an active internet connection.
Response Timeout
For very complex questions, the AI may take longer. Try breaking your question into smaller parts.
